Out in the Cold

OUT IN THE COLD

On Display at 108 N. State Street, January 5-28, 2012

The Chicago Photography Collective (CPC) is hosting a new show entitled Out In The      Cold throughout the month of January.  The CPC is a group of 30 established photographers    whose methods and subject matter run the photographic gamut: digital and film, black & white  and color, portraits, street photography, abstracts and documentary. This exhibit will feature  photographs from eleven of the group’s members.

Out In The Cold will feature photos of people, places and things that embody and represent  winter in Chicago.

Interpreting the cold Chicago winters using documentary, editorial, architectural, landscape,  portraiture, and experimental genres, the exhibit is an opportunity to experience the unique  insights of some of Chicago’s finest photographers.

Images by the following photographers will be featured: David Kamba, Ron Gordon, Ken Ilio,  Robert Natkin, Jeff Phillips, Marc PoKempner, Beth Rooney, Damon Shell, Sandy Steinbrecher,  Alan Teller and Matt Tuteur.  All prints will be available for sale in the gallery.
