Most of my work is about reconciling my ambivalence I feel toward my own upbringing with the broader culture around me.

I attended Sam Houston State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree.  I have exhibited in the Chicagoland area and was awarded the 2007 and 2008 CAAP grant funded by the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs.  In 2007, I had my first solo exhibition featuring a series of photographs with the theme of family titled “Affinities”.  http://www.peterha.com
