Emily Long

Emily holds a BA in Fine Art and Sociology from Loyola University Chicago. She also earned a certificate in Historic Preservation from Northwestern University. She began experimenting with pinhole photography in 2002.  In keeping with the simple process of pinhole photography, she works with a modified, light-tight, cardboard box and a paper negative. Her subjects tend to lean toward the abandoned, the out of the way, the historic.
